Born and raised in South Tampa, Rip Weachter knows this community and has dedicated his career to serving its residents. Upon graduation from Mercer University in 1988, he began his insurance career at Dawson-Watts Agency of Temple Terrace in 1989. Working as an associate agent, he studied the insurance industry to continue to improve and made a commitment to provide quality service to his customers knowing they have many choices. In 1992, Rip was awarded his own agency in association with Nationwide Insurance. Since then, the Rip Weachter Insurance Agency has grown tremendously over the years. Starting out with just himself and his wife, Teresa, as his first employee, RWi has grown to 5 producers and 12 support staff with 2 locations in West Central Florida.
